4. Electronic communications
By using this website or contacting us electronically, you agree that we may communicate with you via email or platform notices. Such communications shall satisfy legal requirements where written form is required.
5. Intellectual property
SixHack Academy (or its licensors) owns and controls the intellectual and industrial property rights in the website and the resources made available through it (content, courses, materials, design, brand, etc.).
Unless stated otherwise, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to access the content for educational purposes only. Reproduction, redistribution, resale or public sharing of the content without prior written permission is prohibited.
6. Newsletter
SixHack Academy may offer a newsletter with educational resources, product updates, releases or promotions. Subscription is voluntary and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in the emails or by contacting [email protected].
7. Third-party links
This website may contain links to third-party websites or services. SixHack Academy does not control those sites and is not responsible for their availability, security, or policies.
8. Responsible use and authorized scope
SixHack Academy provides training focused on offensive security and ethical hacking. Any security practice, technical testing, analysis or exploitation performed as part of the training must be carried out only within lab and/or exam domains and environments provided to you by SixHack Academy (the Authorized Environments).
In particular, you must not:
- Test or attack third-party systems, services or domains without explicit authorization.
- Perform actions outside the scope defined for each lab or exam.
- Attempt to access internal infrastructure, admin panels or resources outside the Authorized Environments.
- Disrupt the availability, accessibility or proper functioning of the website or platform.
Any use outside the Authorized Environments is your sole responsibility and may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.
9. Account registration
Certain features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity performed through your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, please notify us as soon as possible.
10. Course forums and user content
SixHack Academy may provide community spaces within the platform (including course forums). You are solely responsible for the content you post. You must not publish illegal, abusive, fraudulent content, spam, malicious links, or any material that infringes third-party rights.
No leaks policy: you must not share complete solutions, flags, walkthroughs, exam answers, screenshots or any information that may compromise the integrity of labs and assessments. Breaches may lead to expulsion from the course or platform, certificate revocation, and loss of access to content.
SixHack Academy may moderate, hide or remove content that violates these rules and may suspend or terminate accounts in serious or repeated cases.
11. Certificates
SixHack Academy may issue certificates, badges or completion evidence, including certificates available via cert.sixhackacademy.com. These certificates are not official third‑party certifications unless explicitly stated.
SixHack Academy may revoke or invalidate certificates in case of fraud, impersonation or serious breach of these Terms.
12. Discounts and promotions
SixHack Academy may offer discounts, promotional campaigns and coupon codes. Unless stated otherwise:
- Discounts may have an expiry date or limited availability.
- They may apply only to certain products or courses.
- They are not redeemable for cash and may not be combinable.
SixHack Academy may cancel promotions used fraudulently or contrary to their intended purpose.
13. Payments
Payments are processed through third-party providers (for example, Stripe). SixHack Academy does not store full card details. Access to paid content is enabled according to payment confirmation.
14. Right of withdrawal, refunds and digital content
The products and services offered by SixHack Academy consist mainly of digital content supplied electronically, including, among others, online courses, training videos, hands-on labs, downloadable materials, educational resources, support forums and platform-related features.
After payment confirmation, access to the purchased content is enabled immediately or within the period stated in the description of the relevant product.
Since the user obtains direct access to the digital content and may view, download or use the materials made available from the moment access is activated, no return or refund of the amounts paid will apply once access to the purchased content has begun, except in those cases where it is required under applicable law.
Likewise, no refunds will be granted on the grounds of not using the course, partial or full completion of the content, changes in the student's personal or professional circumstances, the user's mistaken choice of course, or any other circumstance unrelated to the proper functioning of the platform.
The foregoing shall not limit any rights the user may have where there is a serious technical issue attributable to SixHack Academy that substantially prevents access to the purchased content and that cannot be resolved within a reasonable period.
If the user believes there is an issue that significantly affects the provision of the service, they may report it via [email protected] for review.
15. Termination of use
SixHack Academy may suspend or discontinue access to the platform temporarily or permanently for maintenance, security reasons, or breach of these Terms & Conditions.
16. Warranties and liability
The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available”. SixHack Academy does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, maximum liability related to a paid service is limited to the amount actually paid by the user for that service.
17. Privacy and cookies
Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies by our Cookie Policy.
18. Updates
SixHack Academy may update these Terms to reflect service or legal changes. The current version will always be published on this page.
